The project offers integrative treatments and options in conjunction to the existing medical facilities in the VA Campus in Los Angeles. Apart from the treatments, the project also proposes permanent supportive housing. The units have different configurations such as studios, one, two and three bedroom apartments for individuals and families.
The project is designed to provide a safe and therapeutic space for Veterans and their families to engage with the community around them.

The project aims to destabilize the divides between dream and reality, objectivity and subjectivity. It challenges the role architecture plays in forming reality by introducing elements that are both foreign and familiar to human perception.
It emphasizes on the individual qualities of the veterans, by offering a series of particular treatments and housing configuration for each person specific need, but also particular moments that enable shared experiences with others. The landscape and outdoor areas will connect the residential and alternative treatment facilities as well as giving veterans the opportunity for connection, such as community activities and also more individual spaces for reading, meditating and relaxing.
